Wine & Dine magazine - winedine.co.uk December 5th 2008

Creed of Barossa
This fine vineyard is producing some splendid wines: on my desk at the moment is a barrel sample of Barossa 2007 CW Shiraz. A big beauty, as they say down under, the nose is amazing, Spicy berry fruits with man like qualities, big fruit, soft tannins and long – boy it is so long.

If this were a sweet wine the number of Caudalies would be record breaking..

Australian Wine Companion 2008 Edition - James Halliday

Creed of Barossa
This is the venture of luxuriantly bearded Mark Creed and business partner (and winemaker) Daniel Eggleton. Their first wine (an intriguing blend of shiraz, cabernet franc and viognier) was made in 2004, with a number of different Shirazs, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and a little Grenache in the pipeline. The partners also own a consulting wing, called C & E Dry Grown Projects Pty Ltd, to make wines for others, and to collaboratively market and distribute those wines.

The Pretty Miss Shiraz Cabernet Franc Viognier 2004 : 4 / 5

"A light- to medium-bodied, long and tangy wine with the
unusual blend giving very good length; fine tannins to close."

GOURMET TRAVELLER  WINE
  Edition - June / July 2007
With its very first wine, 2004 The Pretty Miss, Creed scores 90 points and a position as one of the ‘100 TOP NEW RELEASES'.

"2004 Creed The Pretty Miss Shiraz Cabernet Franc Viognier, Barossa Valley, A$19.
Rather a mouthful to say, and a damn impressive mouthful of wine from a new produced. Pepper, vanilla and jam characteristics - a complex mixture of flavours. Lots happening and a bit on the wild side, but will have many fans."
